Adaptive Recipes beta · Updated 3 October 2026

Beta terms of use

Adaptive Recipes helps you save recipes, adjust quantities and plan cooking. The current beta is free. These terms explain the responsibilities that come with using it.

Your account

Use an email address you control and keep your sign-in details secure. You can browse public recipes without an account. An account is needed to save or publish your own content. Please tell the beta organiser if you suspect someone else has accessed your account.

Your recipes and photographs

You retain the rights you have in your original content. Upload only text and photographs you own or have permission to use, and avoid including other people’s personal information without their permission.

Uploading content gives Adaptive Recipes permission to store, process and display it to provide the features you choose, according to its visibility. Publishing makes a recipe and its photograph available to anyone; it does not transfer your copyright. Private content is used to provide your account features. You can change a recipe to private, and ask for content or account removal through the beta contact. Copies of previously published content already saved or cached by others cannot always be recalled.

Cooking and nutrition estimates

Quantities, nutrition totals and cooking schedules are estimates. Ingredient brands, substitutions, equipment and portion sizes affect the result. Check ingredient labels and allergens, follow food-safety instructions and use the recipe’s doneness checks. Nutrition adjustments are general cooking tools; they do not provide individual medical or dietary advice.

Fair use

Do not use the service to publish unlawful, abusive or misleading content, impersonate someone, access another person’s private information, evade limits or disrupt the service. We may restrict an account or remove content where reasonably needed to address these issues or a legal requirement. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to raise a concern.

Using a beta

Features may change and the service may occasionally be unavailable. Keep your own copy of recipes you rely on. We will explain material changes to these terms before they apply where practical. Any future paid service would have its price and terms presented separately.

Your rights and privacy

These terms do not remove your legal consumer rights or exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Read Privacy and storage for how account information, recipe visibility and browser choices work.
